ITS BEGINNINGS

La Leonor ,situated in one of the best parts of the province of Buenos Aires,is a family agicultural company that has devoted to the production of commodities (oil sunflower wheat, soya, barley, rape and corn ) and special products such as confectionary sunflower and popcorn ) for more than a century now.
This work is carried out in lands owned by the company, in lands they rent to others and also through different production deals done to this end.In all cases there is a close follow-up and quality control throughout the process until the produce is stored in silos owned by the company to guarantee international standards.

The property owned by the company belongs to four members of the family and it is 100%argentinian.The firm uses technology aiming at soil conservation and at preservation of the environment with the purpose of obtaining the best products that are today exported to more than fifty-eight countries in the world.

The agricultural produce is obtained in areas located in the “pampas plains” with anual rain ranging from 700 to 1300 millimetres in different months of the year allowing a rotation of crops so as to preserve the soil.
